Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the websites, applications, APIs, AI citation tracking, SEO analytics, reporting, content workflows, and related services provided by AEO Goal Inc. (“AEO Goal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, clicking to accept, signing an order form, or using the services, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent.
If you use the services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the services.
The Service
AEO Goal helps teams monitor brand visibility in AI and search experiences, including citation tracking, share-of-mind analytics, AI/search prompt tracking, SEO audits, backlink and rank data, reporting, alerts, content generation support, publishing workflows, and integrations. The services are intended for business and professional use, not consumer household use.
Accounts and Administration
- You must provide accurate account, organization, billing, and security information.
- You are responsible for users invited to your organization and activity under your account.
- You must protect passwords, API keys, OAuth grants, MCP connections, and other credentials.
- You must promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access or credential compromise.
- You may not share individual accounts or evade plan, seat, tenant, or rate limits.
Customer Data and Content
As between you and AEO Goal, you retain ownership of prompts, keywords, brand data, customer content, documents, generated drafts you accept, reports, configuration, and other materials you submit or create in the service (“Customer Content”). You grant AEO Goal a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and use Customer Content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the services.
You are responsible for Customer Content, including permissions, accuracy, legality, export controls, intellectual property rights, privacy notices, and use restrictions. You should not submit highly sensitive information unless your plan and written agreement expressly permit that use.
AI and Analytics Outputs
AI search results, citation data, SEO recommendations, content drafts, rankings, forecasts, and analytics are informational. Third-party AI platforms, search engines, and data providers can change results, availability, policies, or ranking signals at any time. AEO Goal does not guarantee search rankings, AI citations, traffic, conversions, revenue, or publication acceptance.
You are responsible for reviewing generated content and recommendations before relying on them, publishing them, or sending them to third parties. The services do not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, or regulated professional advice.
Third-Party Services and Integrations
The services may connect to third-party platforms such as AI model providers, search engines, analytics tools, publishing destinations, storage providers, payment processors, identity providers, and MCP clients. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. You authorize AEO Goal to access and process third-party data as needed to operate integrations you enable.
Subscriptions, Trials, and Payment
- Plan features, limits, fees, and billing intervals are shown at signup, in the product, on the pricing page, or in an order form.
- Paid subscriptions renew until cancelled unless an order form says otherwise.
- Trials, promotions, and beta features may have additional limits or eligibility requirements.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in an applicable order form.
- You authorize our payment processor to charge approved payment methods for subscription fees, taxes, and usage-based charges.
- We may suspend or downgrade access for overdue amounts, failed payments, fraud risk, or abuse.
Acceptable Use
You may not use the services to violate law, upload malware, bypass security, scrape or extract data outside documented product features and API limits, generate unlawful content, interfere with reliability or tenant boundaries, use the services for high-risk automated decisions, or misrepresent affiliation with AEO Goal or a third-party platform.
APIs and Automation
API access is subject to plan limits, documentation, authentication requirements, and rate limits. You are responsible for keeping API keys confidential, rotating keys after suspected compromise, and building clients that handle errors, retries, and backoff responsibly.
Security and Compliance
We maintain a security program designed for a multi-tenant B2B SaaS product. You remain responsible for configuring your account securely, managing user access, limiting data submitted to the service, and complying with laws that apply to your use. Where AEO Goal processes personal data on your behalf, our Data Processing Addendum applies.
Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public business, technical, product, security, or commercial information from the other party. The receiving party will use confidential information only to perform under these Terms and will protect it using reasonable care. These obligations do not apply to information that is public, independently developed, already known without duty of confidentiality, or lawfully received from a third party.
Intellectual Property
AEO Goal and its software, workflows, designs, documentation, models, prompts, product names, logos, and service improvements are owned by AEO Goal or its licensors. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred. You may provide feedback, and AEO Goal may use feedback without restriction or obligation.
Service Changes and Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the services, comply with law, address security or reliability issues, control costs, or respond to third-party platform changes. We use reasonable efforts to avoid material disruption for active paid customers.
Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the services or cancel according to the product flow or order form. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay, exceed limits, or misuse the services. After termination, you remain responsible for amounts due and for exporting Customer Content before access ends.
Disclaimers
The services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, AEO Goal disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every attack, or that outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your intended use.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. AEO Goal’s aggregate liability for all claims will not exceed the amounts paid by you to AEO Goal for the services giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or $100 if no amounts were paid, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify AEO Goal from third-party claims, damages, penalties, and expenses arising from Customer Content, your integrations, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your misuse of the services.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict of law rules. Before filing a claim, each party will try to resolve disputes informally by written notice and a good-faith meeting. If unresolved, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless an order form states another process.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email, in-product notice, or another reasonable method. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
